Don’t you dare hurt this comedian’s heart, or else you’ll be the next punchline in Nana Rodriguez’s comedy act! Nana’s a proud suburbanite with Chicago roots. Growing up as the youngest of five siblings and the only girl in a big Mexican family, she learned how to hold her own and become a master at defending herself from her brothers’ pranks and wrestling matches. She grew tough skin and a fierce spirit, and watch out for that right hook. Armed with a Business Managment degree from Columbia College, she landed a gig promoting nightclubs. But when her heart got shattered by an ex-girlfriend, she found her true calling in life: standup comedy.
When Nana isn’t headlining shows, she’s producing them including co-producing Sabado Night Laughs with Las Locas Comedy. Nana has featured for Ruben Ramirez, Ken Flores, and Chingo Bling. She recently performed at Laugh After Dark ComedyFest 2024 and had a comedy clip go viral with over a million views. And when she’s not out looking for hoes, she’s chillin’ with her fur babies Margo, Kubo, Theo, and Moco.

Whether it be acting or comedy, Lyssa Laird is no stranger to the stage. Her acting career started at the tender age of 6 with the Chicago Theater Company. After a decade of performing in numerous stage plays and a brief stint in the Air Force, she decided to pursue another passion of hers, being a tap-dancing stripper and when that failed she turned to stand-up comedy! Her hard-hitting brand of comedy is impossible to ignore, making her a comedic force to be reckoned with. As a young mother, Lyssa is able to connect with many audience members through shared experiences and a unique sense of humor. Performing at clubs all over the city, she has achieved a lot in her short comedy career and only plans to do bigger and better things. Keep an eye out because this is one comedienne you don’t want to miss!

Melissa DuPrey is a multidisciplinary artist with roots from Humboldt Park, Chicago. She’s an award winning actress, playwright, community activist, and comedian who has wowed audiences with talent. She’s written and performed multiple one woman show including ‘SEXomedy’ and her full-length play ‘BRUJAJA’ was selected as part of 16th Street’s New Play Pop Up Reading Series for 2019 and made it’s world premiere in 2021 with UrbanTheater Company.
She has performed stand-up comedy across the country at showcases and comedy clubs such as Laugh Factory, Zanies, Riddles and with the Latina Comedy Festival and Las Locas Comedy. She is a featured actor in the Emmy-nominated web-series Brown Girls and has many regional and non-regional theater credits in Chicago. With over 10 years of on camera experience, she may be best known for performing as Dr. Sara Ortiz on “Grey’s Anatomy” (Season 17 and 18) and can currently be seen “How to Die Alone” (HULU).

From Los Angeles to New Orleans, Las Vegas to Philadelphia, Texas, Minnesota, Wisconsin and Chicago, Joz has captivated the stage with her quick wit and storytelling abilities in both Spanish and English. Joz is now known as La Cabrona of Comedy and frequently performs and headlines at the Ice House in Pasadena, Laugh Factory Covina, Chicago and Long Beach, the Improv and travels across the country performing alongside the likes of Paul Rodriguez, Jimmy Shin, Irma Ruiz, Tom Arnold, Darrell Hammond, Jamie Kennedy, Gwen La Roka, Momo Rodriguez, Frankie Quinones and many more.

Teachers Gone Bad comedians discuss everything – the good, the bad, and the really bad about being in education. Our comedians use the stage to discuss school related topics and also the hilariousness of life including family, parenthood, dating, marriage and other life experiences.

She shares her experiences, including raising her special-needs son, Declan, through performances that mix warmth and wit. Patti’s comedy goes beyond parenting, tackling social issues and the quirks of everyday life with a cheerful edge. She’s headlined internationally, performed in top comedy festivals like Just For Laughs, and appeared on TBS, COMEDY.TV, and the OWN network’s “My Life Is A Joke.”
