Las Locas Comedy kicked off 2025 with a powerhouse lineup of shows that continue to spotlight Latina and BIPOC voices in Chicago’s comedy scene. From packed monthly Chingona Comedy Hours at the Laugh Factory to a buzzing Sabado Night Laughs at Surge Logan Square, the first half of the year has been full of laughs, love, and community. Highlights include their 8th anniversary celebration in February and a successful fundraiser in April for the upcoming 4th Annual Latina Comedy Festival this fall. Las Locas is proving once again that comedy can be both hilarious and unapologetically empowering.

The lineup of performers brought their A-game, delivering punchlines that ranged from clever observations to downright hilarious anecdotes. From navigating the complexities of school bureaucracy to poking fun at the quirks of students, every moment onstage was a comedic gem.
